THE BRIEF

To renovate a family living room retaining the original timber floorboards and installing a log burning stove.

The starting point for this highly-textured living room was the botanical fabric we chose for the curtains and ottoman. This nature-inspired theme was then continued into the furnishings, creating layers of natural materials such as cotton velvet, antique wood and aged brass. The plantation shutters and Edwardian cast iron radiators were added to further enhance the refined feel of this period living room.
